..Luckily my "gut" instincts told me to ask for a to go prescription and seek competive prices. Soooo I called 25$ optical only to discover that what I had was not a prescription. So I went back to this place of business for a SECOND time and this round they printed me out another "more detailed" script. No one here still, did not honestly explain to me that I could purchase this strength at Walmart or Dollar tree. I explained to the "friendly" staff that 100$ was too steep for me so I had to find a more affordable rate. They smiled and said OK, come back if you need us to help you. I paid my 25$ co pay for the visit and insurance paid the rest, but they obviously wanted more. A few weeks or so later my husband ended up looking at the script closer and he wears corrective lenses, he discovered that 1.25 is an OTC script. I called this eye center and asked them if this discovery was in fact true, they confirmed that these glasses can be purchased from walmart/dollar tree/dollar general, I voiced my frustrations and advised them that I would never do business with this facility and their dishonest faculty ever again. They called back several times that day and were apologetic, although I do forgive them, I would still NEVER EVER recommend or do business here again. It's a shame my son had to suffer for weeks to read when all I had to do was purchase him OTC reading glasses for a buck at Dollar Tree. So sad. SMH!
I do not know anything about eye prescriptions because I have never had to wear corrective lenses and have no history of eyesight complications. So I went in with no fore knowledge of prescription lenses, my 10 year old son started to experience eyesight issues at school so I decided to bring him into this facility for an exam. Long story short I received script for reading glasses (only) and the staff here were pressuring me to purchase a 100$ pair of glasses that could be obtained from dollar tree @ .99 cent a pair
