I brought a vehicle in I had recently purchased for a key problem. The Master key had broken and as a result was causing intermittent starting issues. I anticipated an expensive repair since today most cars are really computers on wheels. I also asked them to check my tire pressure sensors, brakes and replace a light bulb on the front side marker. They did not disappoint. The estimate was around $1,500. I gave approval to do everything needed except the tire sensors. (I thought tire sensors would be best and less expensive if left to a tire shop.) The repair took about 10-days because it requires ordering a key from the manufacturer after providing proof of ownership. As I was leaving the parking lot after picking up my dirty car (1st disappointment), I noticed a VCF light on and immediately called back to notify service. She was very nice and suggested I turn around and drive back to the dealership where I’m sitting now waiting to see why the light was on. Very disappointing that you can spend $1,000 plus for service, pick up a dirty vehicle that you dropped off in clean condition and with service lights that weren’t on before. I’m not sure how this will turn out but I’m starting to remember why I was driving to Lexus in Houston in the past. The moral of the story is that you can’t always do business locally no matter how much you really want to. The people seem very nice but the real measure of any establishment is how you are treated when there is a problem. Still hoping for the best.
